This is going to be a challenge for me. I’m still debating whether I should use static sites to “catalog” my entire CD collection (dated back in the late 1980s… shocker. ) or automate it with WordPress. I checked through Softaculous to see if there is any stand-alone script that would basically can create (and also maintain) a catalog database of my CDs that also includes the most detailed info I can provide. I’m doing this as a little “side project” and of course, let the whole world know the type of music I love to listen to. Sure, there’s already last.fm and all that, but I don’t really do streaming video on my laptop while I work at the same time. Good thing my new Kindle will be doing that for me soon.

Or maybe this would be my chance to build my own application that does that. The thing is, I don’t know enough web programming, whether if it’s Javascript or PHP, for me to actually build this application. I would surely need a whole lot more studying to do again, and more building sample projects at the same time.

Now that I thought of it, I think my priority now is my portfolio. It’s about time, don’t you think?
